Sanjay Dua, Senior VP-Sales of Zee News Group, moving to CNN-IBN

Sanjay Dua, Senior Vice-president, Sales, Zee News and Zee Business, has decided to move on after a stint of four years. Dua will be joining the soon-to-be-launched news channel CNN-IBN in its sales function. Even though neither Dua nor CNN-IBN were available for comments, informed industry sources confirmed that the development would take place soon.

On being contacted, Laxmi Goel, Director, Zee News Group and Vice-chairman, Zee Telefilms, said that a decision on Dua’s movement had not been taken yet.

Prior to Zee, Dua was working with Walt Disney Buena Vista. IBN is a joint venture between TV18 and Rajdeep Sardesai and Sameer Manchanda, both of whom quit NDTV a few months ago. Recently, IBN had forged a partnership with CNN.
