Sanjay Behl elevated to CEO, Big TV and IPTV

Sanjay Behl has been elevated to CEO, Big TV and IPTV. Earlier, Arun Kapoor had held the post of CEO, Big TV, who had put in his papers on November 7, 2008 after a short stint with the company.

Prior to this elevation, Behl was Head of Brand and Marketing at Reliance Communications and was a key marketing resource for Reliance ADAG, overseeing corporate architecture and the recently unveiled new identity for all group companies.

Though Behl was unavailable for comments at the time of filing the report, senior sources at Reliance Communications have confirmed the news to exchange4media.

Behl began his career with Hindustan Lever Ltd (now HUL), where he spent 10 years between sales and marketing assignments. In early 2004, he joined Nokia India to head its brand and marketing operations, wherein his responsibilities included managing brand, product, retail, media, technology, etc. Under his stewardship, Nokia was nominated as the CII Brand of the Year for 2004, apart from numerous other accolades. Behl had done his post-graduation in management from Mumbai University in 1993.
