JWT India has made a significant addition to its creative leadership team. The agency has appointed Adrian Miller as Chief Creative Officer for JWT Delhi. As is known, JWT India is one of the few Indian advertising agencies that do not follow a single, or dual, National Creative Director model. Instead, JWT India operates with a leadership team that so far had Executive Creative Directors, focussing on different markets.
Senthil Kumar heads Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata, while Tista Sen heads the Mumbai office. Miller, for now, has come on board as CCO only for the Delhi office. His main focus though would be to lead clients into an idea driven space that is media neutral.
Miller joins on August 15 and would be based in Delhi. He would be reporting to both JWT Delhi’s Rohit Ohri and JWT India’s CEO Colvyn Harris.
Harris said, “Adrian has built some of Asia’s finest brands. He understands that strong brand means business for clients and increased market share. That will be his primary focus. His diverse experience will bring a new sensibility to our creative work.”
Miller is one of the most awarded creative directors in Asia. Also known as ‘Metal’ Miller, he till recently was ECD of Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia and Singapore. Over the last five years, Miller has led two agencies to the top. First was Lowe Malaysia, which after a year with him at the creative helm got recognised as one of Lowe network’s top performing creative agencies.
Miller has had his worked ranked in the top 10 of the Gunn Report twice. Campaigns that he has led have won numerous awards at major international award shows. These include multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions. Plus Gold awards at The One Show, Clio Awards, AdFest, Spikes Asia and London International Awards. He has judged at D&AD, Clio, Cannes Lions, Spikes and AdFest.
