Rediffusion’s Iqbal Raj joins PerceptH as National Creative Director

PerceptH has appointed Iqbal Raj as National Creative Director, a position vacated by Elvis Sequeira eight months ago. Raj comes in from Rediffusion DY&R, where he was Executive Creative Director, where he was handling some of the agency’s main businesses like Colgate and DB Realty, among others.

Commenting on Raj’s appointment, Ajay Chandwani, CEO, PerceptH, said, “We are excited to have Iqbal in our team. He brings with him a wealth of leadership experience in creative campaigns done for a large number of global and Indian brands. His experience in Lintas on Unilever, in DraftFCB Ulka on Hero Honda, and in Rediffusion on Colgate-Palmolive would certainly help PerceptH in setting new benchmarks in creativity.”

Raj has over 20 years’ experience in advertising. He began his career with Lintas in 1987 and worked on Hindustan Unilever (then HLL) brands like Wheel, Rin and Surf. He then moved to FCB Ulka (now DraftFCB Ulka) and Everest, after which he took a break from advertising for six years to head his own production house, where he directed over 100 ad films, corporate films, and audio-visuals. He then joined Contract for two years where he was managing clients like Cadburys, HSBC, and the Disney Channel, among others, before moving on to Rediffusion DY&R.
