Ravinder Zutshi elevated as Deputy Managing Director of Samsung India

Samsung India Electronics Limited (SIEL) on Tuesday announced the elevation of Ravinder Zutshi to the position of Deputy Managing Director. Prior to this, Zutshi was Director (Sales and Marketing). In his new capacity, Zutshi will oversee the consumer electronics, home appliances and information technology business, along with the corporate functions of the company.

Zutshi has successfully spearheaded Samsung India's growth since its inception in December 1995. He has been instrumental in establishing Samsung's vast sales and distribution network in the country and shaping the company's marketing and communication strategies.

Zutshi has over 30 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, and also holds the position of Vice-President (North), Consumer Electronics and TV Manufacturers Association (CETMA).

Said Zutshi on his plans, "My focus would be to make this organization even more customer focused in terms of our products and services, so that we can establish Samsung as a technology leader in the country."

Samsung India is the Regional Headquarters for Samsung's operations in South West Asia, and is a leading provider of high tech information technology, telecom, consumer electronics and home appliances products in the country. Recognised as one of the fastest growing brands, Samsung Electronics is the world's largest producer of colour monitors, colour TVs, memory chips and TFT-LCDs.
