Ravi Krishnan bids adieu to IMG once again

Ravi Krishnan, Managing Director for Southeast Asia at IMG Worldwide, has moved on from the company. This was his second stint with the global sports, fashion and media company.

Commenting on the development, a company spokesman said, “IMG thanks Ravi for his service and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”

Krishnan could not be contacted for comments at the time of filing this report. Meanwhile, there is no official statement from the company yet as to who would replace him.

Krishnan had rejoined IMG in his second stint as Managing Director and Senior Vice President, South Asia in 2009, after he had first quit the company in 2006 to join Rajasthan Royals as Advisor. He was instrumental in establishing IMG in India and was part of the four-member team that was sent here to establish the company’s operations.

Krishnan was instrumental in creating properties like Sahara Cup, Samsung Cup, Chennai Open, LIFW, and so on for IMG India during his 11-year stint with the company.
