Ramesh Kaul joins Jolen as head of Marketing and PR division

Ramesh Kaul, who had quit as Vice-president, Triton Communications Delhi, has joined American cosmetics company Jolen Inc, where he will be heading the Marketing and PR division. The company makes the well-known Jolen brand of cream bleaches.

Commenting on his new assignment, Kaul said, “My task is to establish the brand as the most popular brand in this category with the Indian consumer as well as to widen Jolen’s range of skin care and hair care brands. Jolen also markets other products like moisturiser sun blocks, hair gels, and cold creams in India, Plans are afoot to roll out many more products for Indian consumers.”

He further said, “Jolen plans to serve the consumer directly from the brand side where there is complete flexibility and control in implementing consumer market related ideas.”

Kaul has previously worked in agencies like Rediffusion DY&R for a year on the Maruti account. He has also worked in HTA (now JWT) for more than eight years as Account Supervisor on accounts like Boost, ITC Welcome Group, Nestle Everyday Dairy Whitener, Hero Motors and played a pivotal role in Zen’s launch in India. He has 14 years of experience in the advertising industry.
