Rameet Arora moves out of Colors; joins McDonald’s as Senior Director

Rameet Arora, who has been heading marketing for Colors since the launch of the channel, has decided to move on. He is joining McDonald’s as Senior Director. Arora is currently serving his notice period at Colors for three months. At Colors, Arora was overseeing all the marketing verticals – trade as well as consumer.

In an official release, Rajesh Kamat, CEO, Colors and Group COO, Viacom18, said, “Over the last 20 months, Rameet’s passion and experience has not only driven Colors to become one of the most recalled brands in a short span of time, but also helped position many of its shows uniquely in the entertainment space.”

Commenting on his move, Arora said, “The last two years that I have been associated with Colors have been a period of immense professional and personal growth for me. I was privileged to have had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest minds in Indian television.”

Prior to Colors, Arora was with Leo Burnett for more than eight years and had worked on various brands, including McDonald’s.

He had started his career in advertising in 1996 and has worked in agencies such as Rediffusion and McCann Erickson.
