Raju Sarin joins HT Media Ltd as Business Head, Magazines

Raju Sarin has been recently appointed as Business Head, Magazines, at HT Media Ltd. He will be looking after the supplementary magazines such as ‘Brunch’ and ‘Lounge’ (English), and ‘Nandan’ and ‘Kadambini’ (Hindi). Sarin will be reporting to Vivek Gaur, Business Head, North and East, Magazines, HT Media Ltd.

Diptakirti Choudhuri, AVP - Marketing, Hindustan Times has confirmed the development to exchange4media.

Sarin brings with him over 21 years of marketing and management experience. He was earlier with OOH Media. Prior to that, was with the Sakal Media Group as COO for their new projects. He has also worked with The Times of India Group in the Response department and international marketing. He was the Publisher for Today newspaper, now called Mail Today, and was also Head of the Business division, which had magazines like ‘Business Today’, ‘Harvard Business Review’, ‘Time’, ‘Golf Digest’ and ‘Men’s Health’. He was also the Associate Publisher of these magazines.

Sarin has also worked in the television channel and the Internet spheres and has handled sales, marketing, brand communication, direct marketing, events and business activation.

He is an Economics graduate from Delhi University and later did his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. He has also done his FCA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a PG Diploma in public relations from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan.
