Rajesh Mathew joins Denstu Communications as Sr VP

Dentsu Communications has appointed Rajesh Mathew as Senior Vice President of its Mumbai operation.

He will report to Arijit Ray, CEO, Dentsu Communications.

“Dentsu has been at the cusp of a transformation in India. This makes it a very exciting time to be here, to be part of the team and play a role in driving this transformation,” said Mathew.

With over 18 years of advertising experience, Mathew joins from Doosra Brand Communications, Mumbai (Part of Aegis Media Worldwide Network) where he was the Managing Partner.

Ray said, “We are delighted to have Rajesh join the senior leadership team at DCPL Mumbai. I am sure his experience across brands, agencies in multiple locations will be really beneficial in strengthening the value proposition amongst our clients. I wish him a great innings with Dentsu Communications.”

Starting with MAA Bozell in Bangalore, Mathew has worked with some of the best multinational network advertising agencies in India, along with an international stint in Muscat, Oman for a year.

He has previously held senior level positions at agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi Direct, Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe Lintas Worldwide, Rediffusion DYR & Wunderman, and Contact Advertising.

Mathew has worked with wide spectrum of clients such as Star TV Network, Mitsubishi Motors, NIIT, SunDTH – HD, Muthoot Fincorp, Editions – Pens of the world, Saint-Gobain Glass, Avestha Good Earth Foods, United India Insurance, Hindustan Unilever, Hewlett Packard, Wipro, Infosys, Texas Instruments, Mico-Bosch, BankMuscat, Oman Tourism, Oman Oil, The Intercontinental Hotels, Airtel, Citibank, and The British Council.
