Rajendra Mehta quits Times Internet as Vice-President, HR

Rajendra Mehta has quit Times Internet as Vice-President, Human Resources. He has joined telecom infrastructure company Vihaan Networks Ltd (VNL) as Director, HR. He will be reporting to Anil Raj, CEO, VNL.

Mehta began his career with KEC International Ltd, an RPG Group Enterprise, as management trainee, and then went on to join L&T Ltd’s Heavy Engineering Division in Mumbai. He has also worked with Ichibaan Honda, Mumbai, the Zubair Group in Dubai and Allied Deals in London and Latin America. Mehta was with BCCL as National Resourcing Head & Head - HR for North & East 2002 to January 2006. He then joined Times Internet Ltd as Head of HR in February 2006.

In our report earlier this morning, exchange4media had reported that Darpan Munjal, CTO, e-Commerce, had also quit the organisation. However, this was found to be incorrect. Munjal is very much with Times Internet. He has relocated to the US and continues to be with the organisation. The error is deeply regretted – Editor
