Rajeev Chakrabarti to join Sahara One as Marketing Head

Sahara One TV had taken claim of Hungama TV’s COO, Purnendu Bose to join the channel in the same position. And, now it has claimed the marketing head of the channel, Rajeev Chakrabarti, filling the same slot in Hungama TV. Chakrabarti will join Sahara One TV from July 1, 2005.

With Satish Menon, President, Sales and Marketing, Sahara, resigning from the company, the marketing position was left vacant. For Sahara One Filmi, the forthcoming movie channel, Zoom’s Shailesh Kapoor fills the need and in case of Chakrabarti is brought in to do the same for Sahara One TV. He would be reporting into Bose.

Confirming the development, Bose said, “Rajeev is an excellent professional who has done some great work for Hungama and has played a key role in building the brand. He will be an asset to Sahara One as well and I am looking forward to similar kind of good work from him, here as well.”
