Big 92.7 FM’s National Alliances Head, Rahul Upadhyay, has put in his papers. He was with the Adlabs backed station since March 2006 and was reporting to Anand Chakravarthy, Head of Marketing. The FM station informed that there were no replacements planned immediately for the post left vacant by him.
A graduate from the Times School of Marketing, Upadhyay had joined the Times of India group in Kolkata and was part of the team that launched Times FM in Kolkata. He rejoined them in 2002 to be part of the team that launched Radio Mirchi in Kolkata. Meanwhile, he also completed his Masters in media management from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
