Rahul Kulshreshtha quits Triveni Media as CEO

Rahul Kulshreshtha has put in his papers as CEO of Triveni Media, which had launched 24-hour Hindi news channel Voice of India on June 1, 2008, and is a subsidiary of Triveni Group, which is into infrastructure and real estate projects. Speculations had been rife for some time about Kulshreshtha quitting the Group. Kulshreshtha had been with Triveni Media since June 2008.

Kulshreshtha could not be contacted at the time of filling this report, but it learnt that Voice of India has made an announcement through an internal mail that Ravi Shankar, Group Editor, VOI, would be the officiating CEO. The same was confirmed to exchange4media by Shankar.

Prior to joining Triveni Media, Kulshreshtha was Director Tech & Operations at TV Today, where had he spent over eight years. Before joining TV Today, he was running his own business.
