Radio Mirchi elevates Kaushik Ghosh as National Sales Head

Kaushik Ghosh has been promoted as National Sales Head at Radio Mirchi. He replaces Naveen Chandra, who had quit from the post recently. Prior to this appointment, Ghosh was National Head, Business Development & Corporate Strategy.

In his eight year stint with Radio Mirchi, Ghosh has worked in different divisions, including corporate strategy, marketing and business development.

Prashant Panday, CEO, Radio Mirchi, said, “In order for any industry to grow, a marketing-oriented approach to sales is required and, therefore, Kaushik Ghosh suits the role perfectly. We are confident that he will take the revenues of Radio Mirchi from Rs 230 crore to a whole different plane. We believe that clients are seeking innovative solutions from radio, and the real opportunity for radio is to understand clients’ brands and offer suitable solutions.”


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
