Radaan Mediaworks ropes in Murali Raaman as CEO

 Radaan Mediaworks India has appointed V Murali Raaman as CEO. He took charge on June 21, 2012 and has replaced Murugan as CEO.

Raaman has two decades of experience in the media industry. His last stint was with AVR Talkies as CEO. He is a well known personality in the Tamil television world.

On joining Radaan, Raaman said, “I have been in the industry for more than 20 years and I have learnt in every step of my life. My aim is to keep learning and deliver the best for the company. At Radaan, I am looking to expand the business oversees and grow at a large scale. We at Radaan want to start production work at the international level.”

Radaan Mediaworks has a longstanding industry presence as a proprietary firm from 1994 and has slowly evolved into a corporate entity from 1999. Today, it is a leading production house in South India. The company is engaged in the business of producing television software, digital graphics and organising live events resulting in an integrated business model. Radaan Mediaworks has also ventured from the small screen to the silver screen producing content in various languages.

Raaman informed, “We are now coming up with a new film called ‘Nanga Vayi Challai’, which is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Traffic’. This is very special as this is the first movie under Radaan’s I Production banner.”


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
