Punit Mathur joins BIG 92.7 FM as Delhi’s Station Head

Punit Mathur has been appointed Station Head, BIG 92.7 FM, New Delhi. Prior to this appointment, he was General Manager-Sales and Marketing, Bharti Airtel Limited, for J&K. He will be reporting to Praveen Malhotra, Regional Head, BIG 92.7 FM. In his new role, Mathur will overlook operations, human resources, and administration, which would include programming, marketing, finance and all general activities of the station.

Malhotra said, “We appointed Mathur as Station Head because he is a fairly experienced person. He had all the qualities we were looking for in a Station Head. He has a good experience in sales and marketing, and has led a decent size of team.”

Mathur brings with him a rich experience of over 10 years in strategic planning, global sales and marketing, brand management, business development, network management and key account management. Mathur has been involved in budgeting, business forecasting, building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements, developing marketing intelligence for positioning the products, and mentoring and monitoring his team members to ensure efficiency in process operations, among others.
