Rediffusion DYR has appointment Deepesh Jha of Publicis Ambience to head the Airtel account. He will be joining from December 17 and will be report to Chief Creative Officers Ramanuj Shastry and Sagar Mahabaleshwarkar. At Publicis, Jha was Creative Director and worked with leading clients like the Nestle Group and ABN Amro Bank.
Mahabaleshwarkar said, "Airtel is a very important account for us and we needed someone to develop that client relationship further. After Ajay Gehlot left us, we were looking for a leader who could handle this challenging account. We had a couple of talks with Deepesh, and we are now looking forward to working with him."
Jha said, "I am happy and excited to be a part of the Rediffusion DYR team, with Sagar and Ramanuj on board. In fact, I have worked with Ramanuj in the past. As our prior association has proved to be extremely successful, I am confident we will make waves in the industry together."
Jha started his career with Clarion, (now Bates David Enterprise). He has almost a decade's experience, which comprises almost two years in the Publicis Group and five years in McCann Erickson, as well as stints at Cheil Communications, Euro RSCG and JWT.
Jha has worked on accounts like those of Compaq Presario, Samsung, Reckitt Benkiser for its brands Robin, Mortein, Dettol, Harpic, Microsoft, NetVarsity (NIIT Online), Boost, Unitech, Hero Honda, Bata, Pepsi, Big Babol, Alpenliebe, Chlormint, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Bacardi, Microsoft, Durex, Goodyear, Motorola, Keo Karpin, Adidas, Essar Cellphone, GEC Alsthom, Park Royal, Philips, Carrier, Indian Airlines, HelpAge India and Oracle.
