Publicis Capital beefs up Delhi leadership team

Publicis Capital has brought on board S Suresh and Harikrishnan Warrier as business unit heads to strengthen its account leadership in Delhi.

After a long stint with Percept/H, Suresh Subramaniam joins Publicis Capital as VP, heading the Nestle and United Biscuits business. At Percept/H he was responsible for the Delhi operations, handling business like Hero Honda, Canon, DLF, and Bharti, among others. He has over 17 years’ experience and had managed businesses like Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Sahara Airlines, Finlandia, Mantra Online, etc. Prior to Percept, Subramaniam was with Capital, Nexus Equity and Milestone. At Publicis, he is looking forward to doing some “really exciting work” on Nestle.

Harikrishnan R Warrier comes on board Publicis Capital with an industry experience of over 10 years. He started his advertising career with HTA (now JWT) and GSK’s Horlicks brand. In his two stints with JWT, he had handled brands like Boost, Hero Cycles, Cargill Foods, etc. He had brief stints with Contract and Percept/H as well. Prior to this assignment, Warrier was with Dentsu India, handling, among other clients, Maruti Suzuki.

Commenting on the new appointments, Ashutosh Sawhney, Executive Vice-President and Office Head, Publicis Capital, Delhi, said, “With the growing, diverse needs of our clients, the leadership teams of the agency also need to be dynamic, multi-faceted and passionate. In both Suresh and Hari, we have found people who bring to the table, mature and diverse perspectives enriched with huge cross category and cultural learnings. I am confident that the two will be able to build ecosystems that will be equally beneficial to our clients, teams and themselves.”

Publicis Worldwide is now represented by two agencies in India – Publicis Ambience and Publicis Capital. Combined, these two agencies are estimated to have a Top 10 ranking – with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai.

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
