Indrajit Sen, President, Primesite, the Mudra Group’s Out of Home communications arm, has put in his papers after being in the organisation for almost six years. Though Sen has confirmed that he is leaving Primesite, he declined to divulge his next destination.
However, speculation in the industry is that he is likely to become head of the OOH division of a large media house. Asked about the reason for leaving Primesite, Sen said, “The scope is much wider in media owning companies rather than in agencies.”
Primesite specialises in strategic signages for the healthcare industry and visual workplace management. Under Sen’s leadership, Primesite is today recognised as one of the most effective and top three OOH companies in India. The agency has an extensive nationwide network, covering over 600 markets. Said Sen, “Primesite is Mudra Group’s largest revenue generator.”
Armed with a postgraduate diploma from BITS, Pilani, Sen has a total experience of over 25 years in engineering, textiles and electronics categories, covering both B2B and mass consumer markets nationally as well as for global exports. He has also worked with The Times of India Group for 10 years, where he was Response Head in various territories.
