Prem Kamath puts in his papers at STAR India

Prem Kamath, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Channel [v] and Star Pravah at STAR India, has put in his papers. He is currently serving his notice period.

Kamath had joined STAR India in May 2007 as Vice-President, Marketing. He was promoted as Executive Vice President and General Manager Channel [v] in 2009. He took on the additional role of General Manager of Star Pravah channel in 2013.

He was earlier Associate Vice-President at Leo Burnett and was with the agency for almost eight years from June 1999 to April 2007. Prior to that, he was with Enterprise Nexus as Account Executive for a year.

While there has been no official confirmation on his next destination, according to media reports, Kamath will be joining A+E Networks in Singapore to take up a regional role.
