Preeti Nayyar has been appointed as General Manager-Sales, North, at OOH Media, where her mandate would be to grow the business from small and medium enterprises in the North. OOH Media has been operational since May 2007 and has 1,700 screens in the north across 12 cities reaching out to 20 million people every month.
Commenting on Nayyar’s appointment, Niloufer Dundh, CSO, Out of Home Media, said, “I am delighted to welcome Preeti to our OOH family and am sure that her passion, her experience, her drive to succeed and to do things differently will help us grow OOH Media North. We have made good inroads with big clients in Delhi, but with Preeti on board, we now will have a focussed approach towards the SME sector in Delhi NCR and the rest of north (Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, etc). Nayar said, “After doing radio for almost five years, I found OOH to be the next fascinating thing. I wanted to add my expertise and take it up as a new challenge in life. The OOH industry is booming and there is immense potential in it.”
Nayyar has eight years’ experience during which she has worked at Living Media, Business Standard and Radio Mirchi. In her last assignment at Radio Mirchi, she was AVP-Sales, Retail, based in Delhi. In her four-and-a-half year tenure at Radio Mirchi, Nayyar had worked on both corporate and retail. Her key contribution was the opening up of and the paradigm shift that the retail sector has witnessed and how radio as an industry had capitalised on the same. She worked with Business Standard for one and a half years as Manager, Business Standard Motoring, and All India Management Journal. She began her career with Living Media Directory Sales, where she spent two years.
