Prashanth Challapalli appointed as Head of iContract

Contract Advertising has appointed Prashanth Challapalli as Senior VP and General Manager, iContract. Challapalli had recently quit as Business Head of Jack in the Box Worldwide. 

A veteran in the digital space, Challapalli brings in diverse experience of working with blue chip brands across agencies.

“Prashanth’s line-up of award winning digital work will help in growing Contract’s digital offerings to its clients across all markets. I look forward to him partnering me and the senior management team to deliver on our dynamic and seamless integration of our creative vision to offer the best value proposition to our clients,” said Rana Barua, Chief Operating Officer, Contract Advertising.

iContract merges the world of digital, experiential and mainline with media-neutral ideas. Clients like Shoppers Stop, EPIC TV, Tata Tele-services, ING, Firstpost, Moneycontrol and Asian Paints, among others, work with iContract to grow their brand on the digital platform.

A veteran in the digital space, Challapalli helped set up and grow Jack in the Box Worldwide (JITB), after having spent over 11 years in media sales, entertainment marketing and advertising. In the course of his career, he has worked with agencies such as Ogilvy, Lowe, Rediffusion Y&R, Dentsu and Publicis, to name a few. He is credited with winning more than 20 National and International awards for work on brands such as Sony Music (Kolaveri Di), Puma (Pimp Your Sole), Pepsi and Louis Philippe.

On his appointment, Challapalli said, “I very strongly believe that content should be inspired by culture. Context should drive conversations and technology should give creativity wings to fly. I am excited with this opportunity to lead and shape the vision of iContract here on and am aware that the expectation will be enormous.
