Prashant Panday takes over as CEO of ENIL

Entertainment Network India Ltd (ENIL) has announced that Prashant Panday, Deputy CEO, Radio Mirchi, has been promoted as CEO-ENIL (Radio Mirchi) with effective from August 2. AP Parigi continues to be Managing Director of the Group and Panday will continue to report to him.

Panday has been with Radio Mirchi right from its inception, and was also involved in the roll out of phase II radio stations of the company.

Commenting on the appointment, AP Parigi, MD, ENIL (Radio Mirchi), said, “Prashant is one of Radio Mirchi’s most talented and experienced managers. He has consistently displayed leadership qualities and has an in-depth understanding of the media space; particularly the FM radio space.”

Panday said, “I am looking forward to the new challenges and responsibilities as CEO. In my new role, along with the support of my team, I will endeavour to make Radio Mirchi a household brand name across the length and breadth of India.”

Panday holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat University, and a PG Diploma in Management from IIM, Bangalore. Prior to joining Radio Mirchi, he was Director-Marketing for Modi Revlon Ltd India operations. He worked with Hindustan Lever Ltd, Frito Lay India, Mudra Communications and Citibank NA. He has 17 years of experience in sales, marketing and advertising industries, and has also held other senior positions.
