PM Balakrishna, who has been Vice President, Allied Media till recently, has been elevated as Chief Operating Officer of the company. Balakrishna had joined Allied Media along with Shripad Kulkarni, CEO of the company, since its inception in April 2007. Balakrishna has been instrumental in growing the capitalised billing of the company to Rs 10,000 million this fiscal.
As COO, Balakrishna he will take charge of the entire operations of Rs 1,000-crore franchise that Allied media manages.

Balakrishna has played a key role in building a formidable team to service all the group clients of Percept Ltd, including North and South regions. He has been an intrinsic force for the company in forging business relationships with a varied mix of clients like Panasonic, Toyota, Canon, Hirco, Nahar Group, Sahara Group and so on.

With over 20 years of varied experience in media, Balakrishna is a strategist and implementer with proven expertise. His specialty lies in devising and implementing strategies for business growth, setting up management of functional systems, team building and management and revenue enhancement. He has a strong background in sales & marketing, having worked with leading media houses like The Times of India – Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd, Zee Network, etc.
