PerceptH brings in Sameer Aasht as VP, Planning

PerceptH has appointed Sameer Aasht as its new VP, Planning Head. He will be based out of Mumbai but will handle the planning portfolio for the agency nationally.

Prabhakar Mundkar, CEO, PerceptH, has confirmed the development and said, “We have appointed Sameer Aasht as VP, Planning, and he will be a senior planner. Thought he will be based out of Mumbai, he will be responsible and shall handle the portfolio of businesses nationally.”

On his joining PerceptH, Aasht said, “My initial understanding of Percept is as one of the few agencies which is future ready and truly understands the potential of young India. Unlike most agencies struggling to crack a conventional campaign in traditional mediums, Percept is ahead of its time. It is ready to enable paradigm shifts through strategic action, brand innovations and IPR. Aasht joins PerceptH from Rediffusion Y&R, where was an independent Consultant & Design Strategist. He had joined the agency in February 2010. He brings in 10 years of experience in the advertising industry, driving between brand and business performance.

Prior to Redffusion Y&R, Aasht was associated with Jet Airways as Manager International Marketing. He has also worked with agencies like TBWA, Ambience Publicis, Matrix Media and Contract Advertising.
