Joji George has come on board as Chief Executive Officer, Percept Sports & Entertainment. He took charge from September 26, 2011. In his new role, George is responsible for providing strategic direction, creating opportunities for integration, and paving the roadmap for the overall businesses for the Percept Sports & Entertainment vertical. His expertise lies in strategic planning and corporate branding, organisational brand alignment, global event management, regional sponsorship, licensing and merchandising.
Commenting on the appointment, Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Ltd, said, “Percept is India’s only conglomerate that provides 360-degree services in the Entertainment, Media and Communications (EMC) industry. Prior to joining Percept, George was Executive Vice President at The Global Brand Forum, Singapore. He has also previously worked organisations like Astro (Astro All Asia Networks Plc), Malaysia; Yahoo! Asia, Singapore; MTV Asia LDC, Singapore; and Sony Music Entertainment (India) Ltd, to name a few.
