Pearls Broadcasting appoints Anshuman Tripathi

Pearls Broadcasting Corporation, which owns the Hindi news channel P7News, has appointed Anshuman Tripathi as Head - Network Development (Regional & International). He will be reporting to Kesar Singh, Director, Pearls Broadcasting.

Prior to joining Pearls Broadcasting, Tripathi was Head of Content Acquisition, Aggregation, Syndication & Channel Distribution (India & International) & event management at Content4u.

On joining Pearls Broadcasting, Tripathi said, “It’s a very enthusiastic set-up here and I am looking forward to a lot of challenges. We are going into a new market and are looking into a new horizon. We will improvise with what we have right now and look to improve the numbers.”

Tripathi started his career in engineering and ventured into the media domain in 2006, when he joined MSM Discovery Pvt Ltd as Manager, Operations. In August 2009, he moved to Mahuaa Media as Head – Network Development. At Mahuaa, he had the overall responsibility of distribution of three channels – Mahuaa, Mahuaa News and Pragya. He was with the group for a year before joining Content4u in September 2010.
