Pankaj Pachauri joins PMO as Communications Adviser

Pankaj Pachauri, till recently Managing Editor of NDTV India, has joined Prime Minister’s Office as Adviser, Communications, according to sources.

Pachauri has over 20 years’ experience in print and broadcast media. He had earlier worked the Patriot, Sunday Observer, India Today and the BBC World Service.

Given his extensive experience, Pachauri is seen as giving a boost to the Government’s image, especially in the Hindi belt.
