Padmaja Chandrasekhar joins JWT, Bangalore, as Associate VP and Senior Creative Director

JWT, Bangalore, has strengthened its creative team by appointing Padmaja Chandrasekhar, formerly of Grey Worldwide, as Associate Vice-President and Senior Creative Director.

Commenting on Chandrasekhar’s appointment, Prahlad Nanjappa, AVP and Creative Director, JWT, Bangalore, said, “Our partnership goes a long way back to Grey. I believe Padmaja will add to our single-minded quest of creating distinctive ideas for our clients that create buzz both in the market and at award forums.”

When asked why the move to JWT, Chandrasekhar replied, “JWT has an interesting and diverse portfolio of accounts, which provide a challenging and stimulating environment to work in. And I simply can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and help add to the lauded creative of JWT.”

With a degree in Fine Arts from The Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore, Chandrasekhar has a career spanning over 15 years in advertising communication. During her stint at Grey Worldwide, she was responsible for the ITC Foods business (Kitchens of India and Aashirvaad), Britannia, 3M, Trianz and Kerala Tourism, to name a few. She was also responsible for the launch of Lee jeans and Volvo trucks in India. While at Grey, she was also in-charge of Grey Geometry, the design cell of Grey Worldwide.
