Optima Marketing Solutions beefs up creative team with two key additions

In a move to strengthen its creative team, Chennai-based Optima Marketing Solutions has appointed Murali Krishnan as Vice President, while Ravi Krishnan comes on board as Associate Vice President.

Optima is a full service marketing solutions agency, offering end-to-end and customised marketing solutions which cater to the growing requirements of Indian companies for domestic and global markets.

Murali Krishnan moves from TBWA\Anthem, where he had had a four-and-a-half-year stint. At TBWA\Anthem, he had spearheaded award winning campaigns for Apple and Le Royal Meridien. Murali began his career as a calculator salesman and got his big break in advertising as a trainee copywriter at RK Swamy BBDO. In a short span of six years, he rose to become a full fledged Creative Director with an exposure to a wide variety of brands across categories.

Prior to joining Optima, Ravi Krishnan was heading a creative shop which catered to regional and retail brands. He began his career with Speer and Trikaya Grey (Delhi) and has serviced various divisions. He has worked on an array of brands, including Adidas, Oral-B, Nestle, Mother Dairy ice cream, ICI Paints, DLF, JK Tyres, Atlas Cycles, Usha Fans, Sprint RPG and Hindustan Times, among others.

Speaking about the new appointments, Raj Narain, Managing Director, Optima, said, “With these two appointments, the creative team at Optima will be a formidable one as both bring in varied experience and insight on brands. Murali and Ravi will foster a remarkably strong team to lead creativity at Optima.”
