Thinkpot Productions, a premier television commercial production house, has appointed K John Jacob as its Chief Creative Officer. Jacob moves from O&M, Bangalore, where he was Creative Director. Prior to that, he was with McCann, Bangalore, as Vice-President, Creative. At Thinkpot, Jacob will be responsible for enhancing the visual aspects of film making and coordinating its varied facets, bringing his creative expertise to the ad production process.
Jacob, or Jakes as he is popularly known in advertising circles, has 18 years’ experience in advertising. As the Chief Creative Officer of Thinkpot, Jakes will focus on enhancing the visual appeal of each frame or put it in a very edgy language, improve the sex appeal of the film and add that very essential touch of art to the final product. His role will also extend to embellishing the script, looking after post-production details and the all important use of advanced graphics that makes the films of today real visual treats.”

During his stint with O&M, Jakes had handled brands like Lenovo, IBM, Deepam Silks, Titan and Sasken. He also made significant contributions to clients like Levi’s, BPL, TVS, ProFX and Dockers while at McCann, which have received both national and international awards.
Jakes’ vision is to take Thinkpot to the No. 1 spot in the country and make it a hotbed for creative talent and a recipient of top international recognitions.
