Hover Automotive India (HAI), Nissan India’s Sales and Marketing partner announced the appointment of Nitish Tipnis as Director – Marketing and Sales.
In this role, Tipnis will head all activities related to sales, marketing, after sales, training and dealer development at HAI. He had served as Chief Executive of HAI in 2009 during the early stages of Nissan in India.
“We are happy to have Tipnis working on the entire Nissan portfolio. We believe that his visionary strategic planning and deep knowledge of the domain will contribute immensely towards achieving our corporate goals in marketing and sales of all products under Nissan umbrella,” said GM Singh, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, HAI.
In a 24-year career across marketing, sales, operations, corporate planning and new business development in the consumer durables industry, Tipnis has spearheaded key consumer retail businesses to achieve sustainable volumes, process redesign, revenue growth and profit enhancements.
“His leadership will further strengthen Nissan’s position at the Indian market place, help achieve our desired goals and meet the expectations of Indian customers. Tipnis started his career with Videocon. He has also worked with Reliance Digital and Future Group.
