Niloufer Dundh has joined Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd as Head of Integrated Media. She will be responsible for monetising revenue across all Hungama businesses and properties.
Dundh had put in her papers as Chief Sales Officer at OOH Media on July 31, 2009. She was with OOH Media for a little under three years, joining the agency in December 2006.
Commenting on Dundh’s appointment, Siddhartha Roy, COO, Hungama Digital Media, said, “Niloufer understands the business of media sales and has excellent skills in forming scalable alliances. At Hungama, we have always put innovation on to the forefront. With Niloufer’s expertise in media, we endeavour to integrate digital services with traditional media practices to provide opportunities for holistic communication.”
On her new role, Dundh said, “Given the fact that one in 20 people below the age of 25 is an Indian, we need to take a deeper took at what this generation is doing and what drives them. The integration of the web, mobile, and gaming will be the new wave in the media buying and advertising space. I am looking forward to lots of learnings and being part of exciting times ahead at Hungama.”
With nearly 16 years’ experience in media sales, Dundh has worked in diverse sectors spanning radio, television, outdoor, print, travel and digital media. Her profile has allowed her to gain experience in India as well as the Middle East (Muscat and Dubai). Prior to joining OOH Media, Dundh was with Hungama TV from April 2004 to December 2006, where she was National Sales Head. She had earlier worked with Radio Mirchi as Corporate Sales Head.
