NGC Network has announced a top-level reshuffle in its Ad Sales division. Nikhil Sheth is now National Head of Ad Sales for NGC Network. In his new role, he will be responsible for the ad sales business of both National Geographic Channel and The History Channel.
Another key promotion is that of Jaykumar as National Head of Ad Sales, National Geographic Channel. And Pappan Majumdar has been made National Head of Ad Sales, The History Channel.
The trio will play key roles in successfully managing the network’s ad sales business. They will continue to leverage their valuable experience, leadership skills and business acumen to drive the business to greater heights, said a official statement from the NGC Network.
Commenting on the appointments, Nikhil Mirchandani, Managing Director, NGC Network, said, “This is an important year for both our channels in India and we believe that Nikhil, Jaykumar and Pappan bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the ad sales domain. Over the two years that they have been with NGC Network, they have demonstrated tremendous sales performance, maturity and leadership skills.”
Sheth has been with NGC for the last two years as Head of Western region. He has a career spanning 13 years in sales. Before joining NGC Network, he was with The Times of India Group, Media Scope and Mans World.
Majumdar joined NGC two years ago from MTV as Head of North and East, and has ten years’ experience. Jaykumar joined NGC Network as Head of South. Prior to NGC, he was with Indian Express and Zee and has a 11 years of experience.
