After a stint of four months, Neville Taraporewalla has resigned from his position at ConnecTurf as MD and CEO. ConnecTurf is a web solutions and digital marketing company. Both Taraporewalla and V Ramani, Vice-chairman, Connecturf, have confirmed the movement. It is learnt that Taraporewalla intends to move on to the publishing business, though he refused to divulge details about his next destination.
“I am moving on from ConnecTurf for better opportunities,” is all that Taraporewalla was prepared to say.
Speaking about Taraporewalla, Ramani said, “I have worked with Neville for a very long time now from both sides, same side, and opposite sides of the table. We intend to work together in the future too. When Neville expressed his desire to move to the publishing side, I understood his feelings completely.”
Ramani added, “He is someone I have known to be very crystal clear in his thinking and so it was a move that I was completely aware of. He has helped drive many new businesses and we continue to have future plans to take it to the next level.”
Over the last four months, some of the new clients won by ConnecTurf include Essar Retail, Corporate and Steel; Thomas Cook; Fedex; Maruti Swift; and HCC, among others.
