Neo Cricket appoints Manoj Padmanabhan as National Ad Sales Head

Manoj Padmanabhan has joined Neo Sports Broadcasting Pvt Ltd as Vice President – Advertising Revenue and will be the National Head of Ad Sales for Neo Cricket. He will report to Raju Udupa, EVP – Network Sales.

Having a deep understanding of the sports business, Padmanabhan’s last assignment was with Somerset Entertainment Ventures (Singapore), where he was instrumental in setting up and creating a business model for the Sri Lanka Premier League. He has also been Director – Ad Sales for Ten Sports. Padmanabhan has over a decade of experience across diverse media brands, including Bloomberg UTV, Zoom and The Times of India.

On joining Neo Cricket, Padmanabhan said, “I am extremely excited to take up the new challenge. Neo has a very young and dynamic team and is in an interesting growth phase. With the best cricket content for the next few years, I look forward to creating value for the advertisers and maximising revenue for the organisation.”

Neo Sports Broadcast owns and operates two channels – Neo Cricket and Neo Sports. Neo Sports offers premium quality global sports, including top drawer football, tennis, golf, motor racing and badminton to the Indian sports lovers. This includes German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, US PGA TOUR Golf, Davis Cup and Fed Cup, WTA Tour Women’s Tennis, NASCAR & MotoGP, among others. The channel has recently acquired broadcast rights for Copa America 2011, Rugby World Cup 2011, Euro 2012 and French Open.
