Neetu Dhulia joins Media Transasia to spearhead launch of new magazine titles

Neetu Dhulia has joined Media Transasia as General Manager from July 10. She will be responsible for initially driving the business for ‘Blender’ and subsequently for some of the forthcoming international titles under the men’s lifestyle division. Her last assignment was with Readers’ Digest (India Today Group), where she was heading the Ad Sales function for North and Eastern regions.

Commenting on Dhulia’s appointment, Piyush Sharma, CEO & Publisher, Media Transasia, said, “We are happy to have Dhulia on board, who brings rich experience in marketing and ad sales with the right blend of exposure to newspaper, magazine and electronic media business, essential for driving Media Transasia’s huge growth plans.”

On her new role, Dhulia said, “With the emergence of ‘the new Indian middle class’, which carries a lot of aspirations and follows its passions and interests with no compromises, there are tremendous growth opportunities for specialised magazines like ‘Blender’. I am extremely delighted to be part of the Media Transasia Group, which is poised for major growth and has exciting plans for the immediate future with the launches of few more international titles.”

Dhulia has 12 years’ experience in areas of ad sales and marketing, branch operations and business development and operations. Prior to joining Readers’ Digest, she had spent one and a half years at NDTV Media taking care of the new business development for the NDTV network. Dhulia began her career with The Pioneer in May 1996, and moved on to The Asian Age for a two-year stint. She then joined Hindustan Times in 2000 and handled business for various products and editions there for over six years.
