Times Now has a new Head of Marketing. The new man on the job is Neel Chowdhury, who will oversee all marketing, communication and digital responsibilities for the channel. The role was a part of the broad portfolio that Partho Dasgupta held before his departure from Times Now as Vice-president and Business Head.
He will report to Sunil Lulla, CEO, Times Global Broadcasting Co Ltd, the parent company of Times Now.
Announcing the appointment, Lulla said, “Neel brings the firepower to grow the
Times Now brand to a leadership position. In 2007, Times Now will undertake many
initiatives to expand its viewership and brand appeal. The process of brand management and marketing in this highly competitive and multi-media era only gains in significance.”
Chowdhury brings with him extensive experience in brand-building and revenue management, having worked for organizations like Pepsico and Nabisco in the US and with Tata Teleservices and Airtel in India.
