Naveen Soni joins PUG India as Head of Communication & Retail Research

Naveen Soni has joined PUG India as Head of Communication and Retail Research. He moves from Zee Business after a nearly five-year stint, where he had been Head of Stock Market Segment and anchor since November 2004. At Zee Business, Soni will oversee the entire communication function for the group including branding, corporate communications and PR.

On his new role, Soni said, “I hope to capitalise on the nine-year experience in media to create the winning mix of branding and PR. It may be challenging, but will hopefully be more rewarding too due to being a part of the core team… The challenge lies in creating the right products and communicating well about them. Having long and wide experience of interacting with investors across the country and bigwigs of the financial industry equally, I think I should be able to create the right mix for PUG clients.”

Soni’s previous assignments include those with CNBC TV18, Nimbus Communications for Doordarshan and Jain TV. He was also chosen as ‘Best Business News Anchor’ for the year 2008 by Amity Business School.

PUG India’s core business includes financial services. It has presence in this business since early 2003, and is today a well diversified financial services organisation offering a range of financial products and services such as equity broking & distribution, commodity broking, institutional equities, corporate advisory services and wealth management.
