Madhusudan Anand, who had quit Navbharat Times on July 17, 2009, has revealed his next destination. Anand is joining NaiDunia as its National Editor.
Confirming the news to exchange4media, Anand said, “I had some others offers from print media houses. But I finally decided to join NaiDunia, where as National Editor I will be responsible for the all the editions across India. I will be report to Alok Mehta (Editor-in-Chief, NaiDunia).”
On Anand’s appointment, Mehta said, “I am confident that Anand will give his best to reach NaiDunia to newer heights. As National Editor, he will be looking after all our editions. This apart, with NaiDunia is an expansion mode, Anand will be also looking after the entire editorial plan.”
Anand had started his career with the Times Group in 1974 as a trainee journalist. He then moved to Germany and worked as an Editor there for four years. On his return to India, he joined Hindi daily Dainik Jagran as Resident Editor in 1991.
