Nandagopal Rajan joins Indian Express as Editorial Head, Digital

Nandagopal Rajan has joined the Indian Express Group as Editorial Head – Digital. This is his second stint with the Group. Rajan moves from the India Today Group, where he was Associate Editor, Business Today and India Today Gadgets & Gizmos.

Rajan announced his movement via a tweet: “Back to Base at Indian Express”. Welcoming Rajan on board, Anant Goenka, Director, New Media, Indian Express, tweeted: “Thrilled to have @nandu79 lead @IndianExpress digital editorially... Great ideas, energy+ one of the best tech writers in town. Looking fwd!”

Rajan was with the India Today Group for one year and 10 months. He was in charge of the ‘Gadgets & Gizmos’ magazine. He also wrote on topics related to computers, apps, tech trends, home entertainment, and cameras, among others, for the magazine.

In his first stint with the Indian Express, Rajan worked as Senior Assistant Editor at the Mumbai and Pune desks for almost six years. He has also worked with Hindustan Times for over five years. Rajan, who is a technology expert, has over 14 years of experience.
