N K Machaiah moves to OMS Mumbai as Business Director, to head ADAE Group

Optimum Media Solutions (OMS) has roped in N K Machaiah (Mac) to head the ADAE business as Business Director. He moves from Denstu Communications-Bangalore, where he was Associate Vice-President, Media.

Confirming the move, Sandeep Vij, President, Optimum Media Solutions, said, “The ADAE Group AOR is one of the largest, the most exciting, the fastest growing, and the most challenging business in the country. Machaiah will head the Group ADAE AOR business, and given his experience and expertise, I am confident that he and his team would add tremendous value to Group ADAE.”

Machaiah has been with Dentsu for the last 15 months, prior to which he was with Universal McCann at Bangalore, taking care of TVS and some assignments out of Sri Lanka. Before McCann, he was with Madison, handling the BPL business.

Said Machaiah, “It was the right move. It’s a good opportunity and an exciting challenge. As part of the business, we will be handling the most aggressive player in the dynamic telecom category. There would be a dedicated team working on the business.”
