Mudra’s Creative Director Chetan Jagtap joins Everest Brand Solutions

Chetan Jagtap, one of the creative architects of the Paras success story at Mudra Ahmedabad, has joined Everest Brand Solutions as Creative Director in their Mumbai office.

Jagtap’s 10-year career has seen steady stints in Lintas and Mudra, with a portfolio that contains much of the original pioneering work on ‘Surf Excel hai na’ campaign. He has also worked on brands like Wheel and Vim Bar.

Jagtap joined Everest on August 8, 2007, and has already begun work on the Parle brands. His appointment was followed by that of Vipin Dhyani at Everest as Creative Director. Incidentally, Dhyani was also a Creative Director at Mudra, and both he and Jagtap had worked together on several brands like Itchguard, Dermicool, Recova, Livon, etc.

N Padmakumar, National Creative Director, Everest, said “I’ve known these guys for some time now, especially Chetan Jagtap, who I’ve known for nearly 10 years since his stint with Lintas. What tells me they’re special is their deep sincerity in wanting to primarily communicate to the target audience, besides winning awards. The quality of work they have put together is phenomenal, and their stuff is clutter cutting as well as charming.”

“I am delighted to be working with Everest. I am responsible for Parle’s confectionery brands and hope I will be able to give my best in the interest of the agency,” said Jagtap.
