MSN India appoints Satya Raghavan as Marketing Head for India

MSN India has recently appointed Satya Raghavan as Head - Consumer Marketing. This is a newly created role and Raghavan will be responsible for the marketing and PR of the brand portfolio of products. He will be reporting to Jaspreet Bindra, Country Head, MSN India and Windows Live. He moves on to MSN India from STAR India where he was VP Marketing for the portfolio of six STAR televisions channels.

Speaking on Raghavan’s appointment, Bindra said, “Satya’s main focus is to market our brands to the burgeoning Internet consumer base in India. We have reached a tipping point in India as far as Internet usage is concerned and it is vital to get our brands to resonate with them.”
