When contacted Tadanki confirmed the news to exchange4media and added that in his new role, he would be based in Delhi.

So far, Gopal Krishna, Head of Audience for Emerging Markets at Yahoo! India, had been serving as the interim MD, a post left vacant when George Zacharias had put in his papers in August 2007. Krishna will now continue as Head of Audience for Emerging Markets at Yahoo! India, and will continue to report to Keith Nilsson, Managing Director - International Emerging Markets, Yahoo!, Inc.

Tadanki was an early pioneer on the Internet. He joined JobsAhead.com in 2000 as Head of Sales and Marketing.
