Aparna Pande, who earlier was Programming Head for Zoom TV, has joined Reliance’s DTH and IPTV division as Content Head-IPTV. In her present capacity, she will be handling the programming duties of the new division and will report to Prakash Bajpai, President, Reliance Infocomm, who is heading the DTH and IPTV division for Reliance.
Sharing plans for the IPTV division, Pande said, “IPTV is new in India and my task will be to provide the best quality content for our consumers. We are in the process of getting people for the same. The plans for the service are ready and we will be launching the service very soon.”
Prior to heading the programming for Zoom, Pande was heading the programming and marketing at Zee TV. In her 14 years’ experience in this field, she has also worked with Channel 9 and Sony.
