Rajneesh Chaturvedi has joined MEC Access India as National Director. He moves from Motivator, a GroupM agency, after two years as its General Manager. Prior to this, he had worked with Mindshare Fulcrum and Nimbus.
At MEC Access, Chaturvedi will develop the creation and delivery of strategic partnerships and sponsorships across nine different platforms – arts, brand-to-brand, broadcast, cause, celebrity, film, gaming, music and sport. He will work with local and regional client teams to build upon existing knowledge and expertise, helping to deliver best-in-class communications planning and implementation.

Working with our existing colleagues in GroupM ESP we now have an even more compelling branded content offer that can be integrated into existing communication plans. Following the successful global launch of MEC Access in October 2007, MEC India recently combined the resources of its sport, entertainment and cause marketing businesses and staff to form a new specialist division, MEC Access India.
During its soft launch phase, MEC Access was responsible for the management and implementation of IPL sponsorships for two of its clients, Citi and Jaypee. Citi is an on-ground and on-air sponsor of IPL, while Jaypee is the main sponsor of the Deccan Chargers team.
In the entertainment space, MEC Access was responsible for the tie-up of LG Electronics with Yash Raj Films and also for a number of on-ground activation programmes for clients such as Nivea and HDFC Standard Life.
