Microsoft India has made some strategic changes in its management. After four years as the Managing Director of Microsoft India, Rajiv Kaul will be moving to the company's headquarters in Redmond as Senior Director in the windows client emerging markets group. Kaul will be focused on driving specific technology initiatives in emerging markets including India.
"Rajiv has played a key role in our success in India especially by helping conceptualise and drive key initiatives such as Project Shiksha and Project Bhasha," said Ravi Venkatesan, Chairman, Microsoft India
Additionally, Neelam Dhawan has joined as the new Managing Director for company's sales and marketing operations. She moves form HP and her major focus will be to strengthen relationships with customers and partners and deliver greater business value. Neelam brings in 22 years of IT industry experience, having worked with HCL, IBM and most recently HP where as Vice President, Customer Solutions Group, she focused on the enterprise, SMB and public sector segments.
"Neelam is highly respected in the industry for her business skills and especially for her exceptional record of managing customer and partner relationships," said Venkatesan.
