Mobile handset manufacturer Micromax has brought on board Shubhodip Pal as its Chief Marketing Officer. Pal will lead all marketing efforts of Micromax globally.

Over the past 16 years, Pal has worked in the consumer space, in the areas of strategizing and implementing new and innovative campaigns. In his last role, Pal was heading Blyk India, a mobile messaging company, where he had launched India’s first mobile magazine catering to the youth as its Country Manager & Director.
Prior to joining Blyk, Pal was Head of Consumer Marketing at Hewlett-Packard India, Personal Systems Group, managing both HP and Compaq brands. He was with the company for five years. Pal has also worked with companies such as Samsung India and ABN-AMRO.
